“Oh, holy night, the stars are brightly shining.” This is my favorite Christmas song. Followed by What Child Is This, specifically the version by Trans Siberian Orchestra on The Lost Christmas Eve album. I like to listen with the lights off, staring at the white light Christmas Tree.
Most of all, today, take time to spend with friends, and family, or just use the opportunity to reach out to someone you haven’t talked to in more than a while. Say, I love you. You were a great friend. Remember that time … followed by a truly epic story. Play cards. Hug someone. Watch movies. Hug somebody else. Give a gift. Re-gift a gift (there is a story there too).
But most of all take the time. Someday, you will look back and think the Little Things were indeed what truly mattered most.
