Scrapping Ideas

I’ve been brainstorming on two projects of late. I wrote a few chapters for both (10,000 words each), road tested the ideas to a few folks, and then using a pros and cons list decided which project made sense to continue forward with. After a bit, I scrapped the one that road tested and started work on the other.

Why?

Well, I figure you have to be committed. Because there will come a time when its too convenient to continue (the motivation isn’t there for xyz reason), I decided to prepare for that contingency.

And so, outlining begins. Let’s put the magic hat on, commit, and move forward.
