The Importance of Being on Time

Scheduling a meeting, is in effect, entering into a contract. You have a topic to discuss, task to complete, or agenda to review and it is to be done at a certain time. With calendars becoming jammed packed (meetings being scheduled on top of meetings), it’s easy to lose track. Starting five minutes late compounds. We always want to get to as much possible, experience the most the day has to offer. Yet, we forget others often have the same goal. Some folks are more polite than others. I came across this quote today:

“I do not enter into agreements, but with an intention of fulfilling them, and I expect the same punctuality on the part of those with whom they are made.” George Washington
